InfoTech - Hydearbad On 15th,16th March 2011

Hai Everyone I am Ramya From ECE . I attended INFOTECH Pool Campus at VNR VIGNAN JYOTHI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING.

Here is the pattern for INFOTECH

1) ONLINE TEST
2) GD
3) TECHNICAL ROUND
4) HR

Cut off=60% through out with no active backlogs

For Written test there are totally 60 questions and u have to answer those questions in 60 minutes .Questions are easy but time consuming . I recommend u to study Quant from r.s.agarwal .Questions Covered from Topics Like PIPES AND CISTEN,BOATS AND STREAMS,ALLIGATION AND MIXTURES,PARTNERSHIPS,PROFIT AND LOSS,AVERAGES,TIME AND DISTANCE,TRAINS,AGES AND 2 DATA INTERPRETATIONS (1 FROM TABULAR FORM,2ND IS PIE CHART) & also there are around 10-15 bits from English comprises of synonyms, antonyms, passage and meanings etc

So,totally 45 from quant and 15 from english.
My Sincere suggestion is practise as many topics as possible From quant because iam not really sure whether what ever topics i said was just remembered when i attended the exam still he may ask questions from calenders,PERMUTATIONS AND COMBINATIONS

................. and one more thing is every IT company has a different pattern of on line examination , so plz read the instructions carefully before attempting the exam.If u dont know the answer just skip it ,but once if u Tick the option that's Going to be the final answer . You cannot change the answer so be careful while
selecting the answer
........ i got selected in written test

Later they conducted GD ,Listen friends GD is just a selection process so u need to discuss the topic confidently esp maintaining eye contact ,High pitch voice,Confident in speaking Our hr conducted a panel of 20 students ,The topic is "IS EXAMINATION KILLING THE EDUCATION".Out of 20 only 7 members got selected in GD and iam one among them.

On the next day they conducted technical round i was interviewed by 2 HR'S . 1 HR asks about my introduction and another asked about ur fav subjects

BOTH HR'S ASKED QUESTIONS LIKE

1)TELL ABOUT UR SELF

2)WHY UR PERCENTAGE IS DRASTICALLY DOWN FROM 10TH TO B.TECH

3)YOUR FAV SUBJECTS AND I SAID COMMUNICATIONS,EDC,MICROPROCESSOR ETC HE ASKED SEVERAL QUESTIONS AND CONFUSED ME A LOT .SO BE CONFIDENT WHILE REPLYING THE ANS SAY YES OR NO CONFIDENTLY.
